2013 Vintage Tasting with Phil Bernstein

April 10, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Dear Members of GWS and Guests,

Since April 3 presented too much of a conflict with Good Friday and the beginning of Passover, we have moved the vintage tasting (and membership meeting) to April 10, at the same time, 7 p.m., but AT A  DIFFERENT VENUE: WE WILL NOW BE MEETING at the Colonnades, an apartment building located at 2801 New Mexico Avenue, N.W. in the District. Thank you, Yolanda Mamone and Marilyn Scarbrough, for helping to arrange this.

If you have already sent in your reservation for the original date, April 3, we will assume that you are now coming to the April 10 vintage tasting. If you cannot come, please send an email to the sender, and we will return your check.

Please sign up for this tasting and bring guests if you like – 15 wines for a very low price!

All the other details remain the same. Below is a copy of the original meeting announcement, with the original location and date updated.

Dear German Wine Society Members and Guests,

NOTE: Due to the inclement weather in early March, we postponed the membership meeting and board election.  We will conduct this meeting and vote at the end of the New Vintage Tasting.  All information and request for nominations from the prior announcement remains valid and in effect.

Every year we host a tasting to provide members and guests with an early opportunity to taste wines from the new vintage.

The 2013 wines are just arriving, and now is a great time to sample what is available so you can decide what to buy based on the most important information of all– what tastes good to you!

Please mark your calendars for our New Vintage Tasting on April 10th at 7PM.  The venue is the Colonnades, an apartment building located at 2801 New Mexico Avenue, N.W. in the District. . The price is $35 for members and $42 for non-members.
