Travel with us this April to Vienna for a sumptuous three-course luncheon and wine pairing, featuring eight premier wines from Austria, including a beereauslese with dessert. This luncheon will held be at Bazin’s on Church, in Vienna, VA. (111 Church St NW, Vienna, VA 22180). In addition to the food and wine, we will enjoy a lively and informative seminar on Austrian wines presented by wine broker Klaus Witttauer.
Klaus was born in Austria and attended Hotel/Restaurant Management School in Salzburg. He worked for many years in some of the world‘s top restaurants in Austria, Bermuda and the United States, including as sommelier at L‘Auberge Chez Francois in Great Falls, Virginia and as the wine buyer for Sutton Place Gourmet. In 2002 Klaus formed an export company with his business partner, Anton Bauer, focused on top selections from most of the wine producing areas of Austria.
