Q. How much is an annual membership in the DC Chapter of the German Wine Society?
A. Annual dues for the society are $35/year for a single or a couples membership.
Q. How can I attend one of your events?
A. The easiest way to attend is head over to our register page and sign up for an event online (Paypal is the only accepted payment method). We would also recommend signing up for our email list. You can get a heads up on all our events in your mailbox as soon as they appear on our website. If Paypal doesn’t work for you we are always happy to take a mailed check for an event. Finally, if none of those options suits your fancy, simply head over to our contact page and send us a message telling us you’d like to attend a particular event. For all events that include a charge your reservation will be finalized when we receive payment.
Q. What are the benefits of membership in the German Wine Society?
A. As a member, all events will be offered at a discounted price. You will also receive preference for an event if there are more attendees than spaces. Finally, isn’t it just cool to say you’re a member of the German Wine Society? Go ahead, say “I am a member of the German Wine Society” and tell us that doesn’t feel good.
Q. What are your refund policies?
A. The German Wine Society will refund payment for a tasting or wine dinner as long as the cancellation is received before the deadline by which payment for the tasting or wine dinner must be received. If a cancellation is made after the deadline and there is a waiting list for an event, a refund will be made when someone on the waiting list replaces the person who canceled his participation in the event.
